Marketing Tip #15 – Set proper “title” and “meta tags” to improve your position in Google & SEO ranking

Your Title and Meta Description is what appears in the Google search results; furthermore, the Title & Meta Description are the words & phrases are factors for indexing your site.

For best results, your Title should be between 7 and 15 words & include your business name, business type & your core products or services. If your business is performed locally, you should include the top few communities you do business in. Your Meta Description should be 25 words and your Meta Keywords about 20 keywords separated by commas.   Some people don’t know it, but actually, it’s more important that the keywords are consistently used in your title, description and copy throughout your homepage as well as in links to other pages in your website.
